One of them, Mary, is shown taking her first steps outside of a crate. Understandably tentative, it takes a few moments for her to muster the courage to go beyond her confines, but she does it and never looks back.Soon, she receives a warm bath — very likely the first she’s ever experienced in her short life — and her tiny body is massaged with soap by a caring professional. With tender hands, Mary is toweled dry and brushed before her foster mom arrives to scoop her up.Perhaps not surprisingly, the sweet and lovable Mary was adopted within just three short weeks.
