Watch Tom Hardy Cuddle With Shelter PupsThe “Mad Max” star stopped by the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home to get some love. Please select a featured image for your postBritish actor (and global heartthrob) Tom Hardy just stole two more hearts during filming of the television docu-series “For the Love of Dogs.” The program, hosted by comedian Paul O’Grady, details the inner workings of the Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in the United Kingdom. And in this recent episode, Hardy pays the organization a visit to play with the pups.In the three and a-half minute clip, the “Mad Max” actor jokes about going to the home as a means of therapy for himself and to give cuddles to the dogs. “All dogs are great but, sometimes, you connect with one immediately,” Hardy comments as he gets down on the floor to roughhouse with a burly white wonder.Next up he meets a pup who has been at Battersea for a few months. O’Grady explains that the pooch can become stressed in kennels as Hardy pulls him in for hugs and kisses and replies that it must be because he’s a smart dog who wants to play. The actor then shares some of his puppy knowledge on Staffordshire Terriers being the most highly decorated war dogs.Although Hardy didn’t come to the shelter to bring home a pup, he leaves with plenty of slobber in his beard having made two new friends. They even made an appearance on the tomhardyholdingdogs Instagram account, devoted to the star’s enduring love for four-legged buds. Whitney C.
