Location: Boston Terrier Rescue Team of the Carolinas in North Carolina.

Activity level: Medium-low.

Likes: People, walks, playing with other dogs, balls, toys, and bones.

Dislikes: Nothing!

Training: Susie Q is house and crate trained, and knows basic commands including sit and come.

Yard requirements: A fenced-in yard is advisable, as Susie has a strong prey drive and could be prone to running off in pursuit of squirrels, birds, or other critters.

Kids: Best with older children.

Dogs and cats: Good with other dogs, but has not been tested with cats.

Health issues: None.

Her story: Susie was picked up as a stray by Cabarrus County Animal Control in Concord, North Carolina. Luckily, BTRTC pulled her from the shelter just in time!

Her ideal forever home: Susie would do well with a dog-savvy, moderately active human who enjoys going for walks as much as she does. Because she’s so strong, she would do best with a canine sibling around her same size.
