Company Sells Dog Christmas Tree Toppers, Donates Over 1 Million Meals to Animal SheltersIt may barely be fall, but one organization is already gearing up for Christmas. In 2019, an organization called iHeartDogs created one of the most unique Christmas decorations we’ve ever seen, their “Christmas Miracle for Shelter Dogs Tree Topper.”For every dog angel sold, 30 meals are donated to animal shelters through GreaterGood.org. According to iHeartDogs president & founder Marshall Morris, “That works out to about 1 meal for every single dog in the average size animal shelter. We were incredibly fortunate to be able to donate over 1,000,000 meals through the sale of this product since 2019.”Morris goes on to explain why they started selling the Tree Angels again as early as September of this year. “COVID-19 really changed things for us, and its really affected our manufacturing and shipping times. We were able to get some tree angels made early this year, but the supply will be very limited and we’re expecting to sell out as soon as the first week of November.” You can learn more about the Tree topper on the iHeartDogs website. They are selling for $29.99, with each purchase funding 30 donated meals. JT Snowden
