Rescue Dogs Model Bonjour Fido’s Adorable Collars and LeashesThe NYC company also gives back to local and national rescue organizations. Just in time for the start of spring, bonjour fido has released its latest line of adorable patterned collars and leashes for dogs. From painted floral designs to classic plaids, polka dots, and gingham, the individually handcrafted accessories are all made locally in Manhattan with high-end metal hardware and polished gold and silver metal buckles for discerning doggies, and their credit card-toting parents.Collars are $32 and leashes are $35, and many include some organic materials, like the army camouflage set that’s made with 100-percent certified organic fabric. And the stuff is super sturdy with heavy nylon webbing, heavy-duty thread, and triple stitching at all stress points for incredible durability. But one of the best parts about bonjour fido is that many of the collar models are rescues, including Boomer donning holiday roses, Milly wearing cotton candy gold glitter, Kingston in celebration flag, and Cosmo sporting aqua stripe. To further support the community and give back, bonjour fido donates to rescues, including some NYC-based organizations such as People For Paws Rescue (prior to its shutting down as a result of underfunding) as well as national non-profits including the AKC Canine Health Foundation.
