Taking your dog for a walk is one of life’s simple pleasures. Carrying around a bag of warm poop isn’t, though. LeashPod — a bag dispenser that doubles as a little storage cubby — at least gets it out of your hand until you get to a trashcan.
Conceptualized by a veterinarian’s daughter, the LeashPod not only has the pull-and-tear bag dispenser with scented storage bin, but also a steel snap hook for attaching one or multiple leashes as well as two water-resistant pockets to store your cellphone, keys, dog treats, or whatever. It comes in two sizes (small for $34.95 and large for $39.95), and you can use any type of bag with it — including biodegradable types. And you can glam up your LeashPod with a pink camo or leopard print cover ($14.95 each).
But best of all, the company has just partnered with Canine Collective –- a non-profit dog rescue serving groups throughout Ohio and parts of New York and West Virginia. LeashPod donates a portion of its sales to the organization, which will put the funds toward providing food, beds, and healthcare to animals in need.
